Our Story
My name is Matt Register, I've always had a passion for cooking. Early in 2023, my wife and I had planned to start our own restaurant business, but in May 2023, God showed me His plan. He laid a vision on my heart to use the gift He gave me to provide free meals while sharing the gospel with others. I shared this vision with my wife, Felicia, and she immediately agreed. Our first opportunity to serve our community was in June 2023, and we gave out 200 meals. That is how A Servant's Heart began.
Our Mission
To live by Jesus' examples of sacrifice, humility, and to love your neighbor as yourself by serving each other through community outreaches of food and services; So that others may come to know Him and His love.
How we first began...
When the Lord laid the vision on my heart, we knew we would need some hands to physically help us. The following names instantly came to mind: Chris/Cindy Parkhurst, Salina/Rob Roe and Josh/Magen Greene. One by one each of them agreed to help but not only physically but financially. We had a huge yard sale that each family contributed to and it was very successful. A lot has changed since we first began in June 2023. The Lord has shown more visions on what A Servant's Heart should look like and where He wants to take us. We have many dedicated volunteers that support us and have the heart that we have to serve and love others and we are so thankful for each and every one of them.
